課程概述 |
This course aims to give a thorough coverage of cosmology, including its historical and the latest development. The syllabus includes the Big Bang theory, geometry and dynamics of space-time, primordial nucleosynthesis, inflation, cosmic microwave background, large-scale structure, structure formation in the universe, topological defects, dark energy, etc.
This course is suited for both undergraduates and graduates who have no background in cosmology but would like to learn more about it. No prior course is required. |

The final grade will be determined by a mid-semester exam, a final exam, and some example sheets (exercises). |
